Springtime feels like a hopeful time of year as plants and animals re-emerge after a dark and cold winter, which brings forth a sense of joy.
I've designed this collection around the life that bursts forth during the spring months: sprouting plants, visiting pollinators, blooming bulbs, refreshing rain showers and warm sunshine. The colors are bright and cheerful to depict the overall feeling of happiness that winter is finally over.

The version of 'vintage' that always draws me in has to be from Mid-Century through the early 70s, so a lot of my work is inspired by this time period. Except this collection.
For whatever reason I felt so drawn to creating something around the Victorian era. I imagined women meeting the parlor, gossiping over tea (as friends are wont to do) and meandering 'round the rose garden.

Bonus: I did something fun with this collection! Because Victorian homes remind me of spooky, abandoned haunted houses, I created a Halloween-esque mini collection! Six of the eight prints come in new colorways, and one print even has a few spooky alterations.
