Hooray! I am happy to announce that my solo work has been published – for the first time! – in a print magazine!
For those unfamiliar, Mingle Magazine is a quarterly publication featuring beautiful gatherings like small-scale picnics and larger creative retreats. It’s really gorgeous and completely inspiring. Oh, and speaking of retreats…
…my photos from the Resonate Retreat were featured in the latest issue of Mingle! (It’s just occurred to me that I’ve never blogged about the Resonate Retreat. Whoops. Beryl did, however, so read her post here and in the meantime, I’ll work on my own!)
Beryl wrote a wonderful article to accompany my photographs of the retreat, which was held at the aptly named Retreat at Cool Spring in Bluemont, Virginia. The award-winning Chef Monika was in-house to serve us delicious meals and snacks throughout the entire weekend and I desperately wanted to take her home with me.
And because I’m a dork, look! Our names!
And finally, I leave you with a little behind-the-scenes shot. Indeed, I did snap the above photos on the dormer window seat in my bedroom. #secretsIf you’re interested in checking out our multi-page spread in the spring issue of Mingle Magazine, you can pick up a copy at Barnes and Noble, Jo-Ann Fabrics, or online.
I've pulled together my favorite and most-used art supplies + tools to make the process easy for you!
I make whimsical art for color-lovers and California dreamers. I'm based in Virginia, outside of Washington, D.C. where there are most decidedly no palm trees in sight.
