If you don't hear back from me in 72 hours please email hello@thealiciabruce.com. Sometimes the internet gremlins eat emails. Rude.
I am absolutely a dabbler - show me a technique, medium, or hobby and I'm on it. But while I'm open to trying anything, only some of them stick around long term. I love creating surface patterns - it's like a puzzle trying to get elements and colors to fit together until it just clicks.
I also really enjoy creating acrylic abstracts, gouache paintings, digital art, and working in my sketchbook with watercolor, markers, pencils, and pastels.
Yes, please reach out with any requests! I'll be honest and let you know if I sound like a good fit.
Oh my stars, this is a mixed answer. On one hand, I know it seems like it would be right up my alley, but creating a brand identity is more than just drawing. This task is better left to the pros - you can find brand designers by asking around in your favorite creative Facebook group.
That said, if you're looking for illustrations to use in your branding, I may be a good fit. Reach out with more details and we'll talk!
I do work with pencil/fineliner, watercolor, and gouache, but somehow along the way digital art became my preferred medium when it comes to creating commissioned art. I've come to find creating with paper and tangible media to be a relaxing activity for me, and I don't want it to become a source of stress by turning it into client work. I tend to save analog mediums for prints + licensed artwork. That said, I'm absolutely not opposed to creating custom work with other mediums, but definitely reach out first with more details.
Send me a note and ask away!
