Grab your iPad and get Procreate locked and loaded, my creative pals! It’s time for a Procreate Party! A full weekend filled with live procreate tutorials from loads of talented instructors!

What’s a Procreate Party?: It’s a two-day long event hosted by Peggy Dean of The Pigeon Letters. She’s brought together loads of instructors to host LIVE sessions involving the digital drawing app Procreate.

When and where is it?: The event is over the weekend of March 2-3, 2024, but you don’t need to attend live to catch the sessions! Everything is online so you can watch from the comfort of your home.

What will the sessions entail?: Each session is two hours long so that you can work alongside your instructor in real time, seeing their exact process. No time lapses or skipped steps here!

I’m a total beginner, can I join?: For SURE! The benefit of being live means that you can ask your instructor questions as you go along rather than feeling confused and left behind.

If I know how to use Procreate will this just be a repeat of what I already know?: Maybe, but I feel like you’ll more than likely learn things you never knew before! You’ll have a chance to improve your skills, learn new techniques, or at the very least have some fun projects to work on when you’re feeling creative but don’t know what to make.

I can’t make it live, will there be replays?: YES! The Weekend Pass allows you to access the live sessions and replays for up to 48 hours. The All-Access Pass gives you unlimited replays forever!

What sort of Procreate tutorials are planned?

What type of techniques will we visit, you wonder?

Oh we’re a technique-heavy bunch over here. We’ll be exploring Procreate’s nearly limitless interface by:

• adding depth and shading
• working with all the capabilities of layers
• manipulating objects with warp tools
• utilizing drawing guides and planning ideal compositions
• painting with digital watercolor
• rendering expressive flourishes
• adding stamp brushes
• creating background textures
• … and more more more
