The Quirk Hotel in Richmond, VA, is probably one of the most photogenic hotels in the state. With its vaulted ceilings (I think? I’m no architect.) and large windows, the space fills with light. Not to mention the stylish decor and pops of color everywhere… it’s easy to see why the Quirk photographs extremely well.
Which is why I think you should update your headshots for the new year at none other than the Quirk Hotel. Specifically on January 16-17th, 2019 with me behind the camera.
Sorry guys, but this one is just for the ladies! Let’s kick it middle-school style with an old-fashioned sleepover at the Quirk. But since we’re professional adults, we’re going to upgrade the Hi-C to bottles of wine, ditch sleeping bags for Queen-sized beds, and take legit headshots instead of prank calling our crushes.
The junk food and chick flicks still apply, however.
Everything to make your stay cozy is included (like food and wine), so there’s no worrying about Ubering to dinner in the middle of a cold January rainstorm.
My goal is to get you a batch of new headshots and brand lifestyle images to start the new year off right. With 45 minutes in front of the camera (plus styled flatlays!), you’ll have loads of new images for your blog and social media. And it’s all done inside the light-filled warmth of the Quirk Hotel. Everything you need to know can be found here. There are only four spots available, so you’ll want to jump on this, quick!
Keep scrolling for some colorful inspiration from two of my latest shoots at the Quirk, and then head on over to thealiciabruce.com/sleepover to sign up for your turn to sit on the big pink couch!
(Behind the scenes shots of me were taken by Krysta Norman.)
With only four spots available, this is sure to sell out. This is your excuse to get away from your desk and get to stay at this beautiful hotel!

I make whimsical art for color-lovers and California dreamers. I'm based in Virginia, outside of Washington, D.C. where there are most decidedly no palm trees in sight.
