Heading into your photo session with ZERO idea what to wear? GURL. Literally me. But for some reason when I’m not the one in front of the camera, I can pull together outfit ideas like it’s no big deal. And not only outfits: how about a photo session that’s outside the norm of person/couple + park + golden hour? Because why shouldn’t your session be fun?!

One of my favorite places to find clothes that fit my personality is ModCloth. I also love that their clothes are available in plus sizes and that they are body positive in their use of models of all sizes. Since my dog ate one of my beloved Saltwater Sandals, I found myself browsing the rest of the ModCloth site after I added new sandals to my cart, and I was inspired to put together an outfit/photo session pairing (sort of like a wine and chocolate pairing without the calories) for you to look through.

So forget about everything you think you know about photo sessions (in a nondescript park; against a white wall) and photogenic outfits (no patterns; neutral) and let’s get our quirk on! An engagement session in an airplane hangar? Headshots at an ice cream parlor? Hell yeah!
